Sarah is a Brooklyn-based teacher, filmmaker, photographer and visual artist. She learned the value of capturing moments watching her father joyfully and unfailingly photograph her family. She left her hometown of Miami, Fl to earn a bachelors degree in Film Production from Boston University.
Following graduation, she moved to Los Angeles where she worked as a TV writer’s assistant and set dresser for commercials, music videos, and feature films.
In search of a more genuine way of sharing and developing her creative passions, she earned her Master’s in Teaching from the University of Southern California. Sarah is honored to inspire and be inspired by the stunningly talented and free-spirited children she teaches at The Children's Museum of the Arts in Manhattan where she works as a Teaching Artist.
Sarah's work considers the mystery of the invisible – that which gives us life and life anew. She strives to smile her way through life, to create freely, and to stay fascinated and in awe of the natural world.
